One of Warren Buffet's underlings purchased $500 million in Barrack Gold.
What were they thinking? Do they not read the posts of Skol and Dr Who? Do they not study the 20,000 comments and charts posted by someone who states gold has no value,pays no dividend and has no p/e. I am sure that underling is now down at the dole office.
Or Has Warren suddenly realised that we are in very very uncertain times and it is prudent to have exposure to that dirty metal.
One is always hugely respectful of Warren Buffet and his success with Berkshire Hatthaway but I think by holding so much cash over the last 12 months he has missed a trick.
