Average of 12.85% decline per decade.

a total 39% decline in Arctic sea ice extent

7.05 million square km in 1979
4.32 million square km in 2019

It's getting warmer. Ice melts when it gets warmer.

All science studies indicate we can expect further reductions in sea ice extent

The only thing that is not declining about Arctic sea ice is the deniers denying. This will go the same way as the deniers harping on about the 1998 surface temperature pause for a decade. They were wrong. The science predictions were right. And the science will be right again this time.

It's all obfuscation, whataboutism, and a desire to ignore the obvious.
