Just browsing the recent crop of postings on this thread and it is not hard to sense that a feeling of desperation is abroad..The lack of recent announcements and positive news, coupled with the lack of share price performance of most of the listed stocks, would be enough to make anyone wonder if this current scenario will improve soon...WELL, IT WILL!!!!
Just consider what exactly CTP management has to achieve in the not to distant future...
The attempted raising of capital is a first priority...and this can only be realized, practicably, in a couple of ways..
A cornerstone investor, with deep pockets and available capital, that will require an allocation of equity in return for finance and undoubtedly a voice in management...We all expect BGC to be the party and if so, then drilling success would undoubtedly result in BGC bidding for control of CTP..
A rewriting of the Joint Venture terms by BGC,but only in those tenements that will be drilled this coming season,, say, covering 80% of the costs for 60%-70% of the rewards?...This,in view of the current CTP balance sheet, would allow CTP to cover drilling costs AND retain ownership and control..Plus, if BGC will not come to that party, there may be another entity that would be prepared to be a co-joint venturer?,,,An Asian or Oriental conglomerate???
Eventually, when finance has been determined, then the parties will have to determine drillable targets, obtain the necessary CLC permits and clearances, obtain the necessary NT Govt. clearances and permits, organize the necesary Drill Rig,(or preferably,Rigs!) prior to that, there will be a need to man-up on CTP,s part, hopefully, sub-contractors to organize, all of the ancilliary drilling services, eg., coring, logging, testing etc..
Site access will have to be enabled, roads, water,etc..
and drill pad. Oh well,I guess that little lot should be taken care of before smoko,eh?
So, when you lot are sitting in your air conditioned humpies, bothering J.H. with telephone calls, and wondering when the next announcement will appear, just remember that "The Man" has some real work to do...
REST ASSURED THAT IT WILL ALL COME TO PASS!!!
