Zip already offers less merchant fees than Afterpay where in Paypal tried to demonstrate it charges less fees as well yet because of Afterpay’s platform And being a FinTech App that promotes merchants, it still dominates the field. Just because Amazon is a dominant market force, it doesn’t mean Walmart will no longer beat their earnings which they did. Same will happen to Afterpay and Paypal. All imo. Afterpay’s market cap is way far from Paypal which is a huge threat but also a potential competitor.
