I think that there is a lot to like about LKE
1 Big resource
2 Great technology
but I always thought that
3 Regional exclusivity agreement
was a significant part of the upside. When LKE's brines are turned into battery grade Lithium everyone particularly in the region known as the Lithium triangle will want in and may be made to use direct extraction by the governments that regulate the industry. Local people get very hostile to the idea that mining companies are destroying their aquifer.
Any how when direct extraction becomes the industry norm the other companies will have a decision to make. Reinvent the wheel by teaming up with some other tech company or by offering LKE something to vary their exclusivity arrangement and that offer could be big.
