Caramel, have you ever travelled outside of Australia???
davidoff59,
you still haven't answered
"Why is how another country treats people relevant in a topic about Australian retailers wanting Australian muslim women take off their hijabs
Most people want different cultures to assimilate. We dont want them to change but to abide by our laws and customs as every country in the world has a right to ask.
Smuggle drugs into some countries and you risk death, steal and you risk losing a limb, sex out of marriage and risk lashings/ jail etc. Now its up to people to check and follow customs of the destination country or risk the consequences. So what is the issue with asking people moving to Australia or any other country to follow our rules and customs. Its not much to ask
Tell you what caramel, cover up your face and go into some security conscious place and come back and tell us all what happens.Fair enough??
