8000 has been the BUY zone for the DOW since October.
It will take something very signifcant to push it under and have it close beneath it.
The Fed and US administration has demonstrated again as early as last night (Bank of America) that they don't plan on letting anyone else fail
Furthermore as bad as any future profit numbers may be I believe that the current market has fully discounted any future downside into current prices.
Depression/long recession already priced in IMO.
