It's a classic (amusing) headline for sure @newB.....possibly some imaginative 'Gold' & 'Giant' themes being carried through from the 'Jack & the Beanstalk' fairy tale. The Giant was a bit unhappy when Jack reclaimed the goose that laid golden eggs & the gold harp that could sing. Things didn't end well for the Giant, but Jack apparently lived happily ever after.

Instead of the 'Awaking the Sleeping Giant' theme, perhaps the BoD could have been a bit more nuanced in their choice of words e.g. 'High-Grade Drill Intercept Results - Update No.XX'

I wonder if they'll stick with the 'Awaking the Sleeping Giant' theme for the next drill announcement?

Yes really odd seeing this kind of announcement in ASX, particularly for a gold miner.

But, market seems like it and it's +30% with a larger volume.
