It can be hard to describe the actual detail of what they do to a layperson with absolutely no understanding at all of payments. But that'd be the same with many fintech companies, and most other companies, actually.
I could summarise what they do as 'card issuer, payment processor and authoriser, and card programme manager'. If peoplr don't understand that, then that's their fault, and definitely no point investing in payments companies I would think.
