it is patently riduculous to rely on a few days price action to assess whether gold (or anything else) is stuffed.
look at the underlying primary trend, the fundamental backdrop, and then place a few weeks action into the overall context. (Overnight moves should be ignored, unless your timeframe is very very short). Topping up and lightening points are then relatively straight forward
if there is a significant change in the fundamental backdrop then reassess the entire strategy.
the gold move to $850 in 1980 contained HUGE up and down price swings over short term for a DECADE. The end of the gold bubble was marked by EVERYBODY being bullish and huge media attention, with a parabolic move in the charts.
