Lets take a moment to look at this statement:

"I dont know anything about the technology but I know there is similar technology that had been around for at least 20 years"

Hahaha how can you claim to know there is similar tech when you dont know anything about the tech? What have Caterpillar been using for 20 years?

Bit of an oxymoron there.

Who are all these companies that "would have the same or better tech" given you don't know what the tech is? Why would GM not have opted for one of these more established, better alternatives rather than take a complete punt with this unproven, lesser performing option as you would frame it?
