Come on peeps, China's moves are OBVIOUS!!

EveryTHING that's been banned from Australia to date are part of the trade agreement to purchase goods from US.

Meat, Oates and whatever ( lost count and i dont care) that are banned in the name of trade dispute are in fact a trade off to fulfil US imports.

Simple maths really. You can only consume so much of one commodity.

I don't recall any import wine quota as part of the trade agreement between US / China.

So for this reason, it is "safe" to assume wine exports will not be perm banned.

But looking at dine-out spend in China post covid. it is still down 11% YOY. So there is still an ongoing effect on overall consumption of wine / dine out.

I peed my pants when milk powder got "banned" A2 was trading at $2.5. Sold it all and the rest is history.

Happy to put a small bet on it and increase the holding if the price goes down further.
