He's signed an agreement to study renewable energy projects in PNG - mostly hydro, but geo and solar on the list. The major one is the Purari River hydroscheme - 25GW capacity. Purari's a bit of an old horse, trotted out from time to time when somebody needs to be impressed. In reality I think he's positioning himself with the government for a run at the Bougainville copper-gold mine.
