Well said. In addition the market bets on forward looking macro industry changes. i.e. money flowing into stocks like KGN is being allocated in anticipation of the new retail model, being online shopping as the norm and continued demise of retail foot traffic.
Same with Tesla. There is anticipation of widespread EV rollout at some stage. It's not all about Elon Musk, Bezos or their current earnings etc. It's about a big macro play in addition to all of the current factors being talked about.
