Its not just a tech sell off, its a broad market sell off exacerbated by the tech bubble bursting a bit and we are officially in recession and a crash bigger than in March was predicted, could this be it? Anyway there will be rebounds and recovery, in meantime buying opportunities galore. I rarely looked at the market in March (too horrifying) and missed opportunities but wiser calmer than myself scooped them up and would now be very pleased. I will probably do same again, put my head in sand regarding the market and just get on with my life, with an occasional peep. I watched a horror movie last night on TV with Eric Bana I'd never seen before. It was about him being a cop being called out to a zoo where a child had been thrown into an animal pit (survived), domestic violence, strange behaviors, noises, dead bodies etc which were all connected by evil devil possessing certain people and a priest exorcist .. some very graphic disgusting scenes I had to walk out on at moments, the suddenly grim market may do the same for me - i just won't look
