Not alone does Saudi Arabia it own Aramco ( it is floating part of it) it owns the crude in the ground 100% unlike our Governments who has flogged lifetime resource leases to Multinationals for two bob!
By the way if Abbott had not repealed the MRRT, we'd be winning $10 billion/year extra reasource tax now and wouldn't those lollies be comming in useful now! Or if we had to invest the MRRT in 2 giant steel smelters/steel mills in SEzs starting 2014, we'd be in production now churning out 10 million tons of steel P/A. If China can build a mega smelter/steel mill in a year then surely we can build 2 in 6 years!
