it should be possible to have system redundancy with multiple AKIDA chips that are completely disconnected and protected until they need to be brought on line. The small size makes low or no tech solutions possible.
In the type of vehicles discussed the human operator could flick a switch/s to bring them on line as and when a successful attack takes place.
