No. Akida offers more than that.

The military (especially navy or airforce) are not going to rely on akida tracking anything in video alone. If a naval or air platform is within visual range of anything you are already in trouble. There are missiles that skim the waves and manouver at close to the speed of sound. This is not world war 2.

Electronic warfare detects threats over the horizon or close to it. Akida would play in this space by interfacing with passive and active sensors. It would detect and classify targets automatically and provide solutions. It's ability to learn at the edge would be beneficial in this space because signatures can change.

Likewise, in missiles, they use a range of different means to track targets. Aircraft don't always looks like aircraft to automated systems when they are hidden behind a big cloud of tinfoil. Chaff is only one example of countermeasures, but regardless, the ability to identify countermeasures and know how to disregard them to continue to track the real target (and to learn constantly so it can refine it's ability to do this better and better each time) is where akida could excel.
