    Actually, The Daily Reckoning did see problems coming.

    They would run up their tattered Crash Alert flag each day. I remember this around June 2007. They did got the commodities and de-coupling story dead wrong, however.

    There were a small but significant number of people that I researched that also saw this coming. They were all ignored however.
