Agree Nro . Processing of REE has come a long way even in the last decade eg Synergistic solvent extraction . Processing REE in China previously could involve up to 100 phases. As with uranium we have to look at advancements that have been made in processing and not what practices where used 20- 30 years ( or even 10 years) ago . Lots of information available on the net even on CSIRO website on advancements in REE treatment/ processing. Forward thinking and progress made in REE processes should be what gets us the EIA . Soon one would hope.
