    0 baseline for performance fees...

    Can you think of anything more outrageous.

    VGI and L1 to name a few.

    How can any manager stare you in the eyes and say yes that's based on performance...

    They get a f.... management fee for a reason. If you want a performance fee - actually perform and beat a relevant index.

    There is such a long way to go in this country to weed out this greedy, toxic culture.
