Wombat? I thought you meant he eats, roots, shoots and leaves!
Keep a close eye on the WA's government's decision to process gas at James Price Point approximately 60km north of Broome. It is quickly becoming a contentious issue which is about to explode. A large group of celebrities (George Negus, Tim Winton, Missy Higgins [Broome resident], Ernie Dingo, Malcolm Douglas [Broome resident] and others) are gathering support to see the Kimberly remains untouched. They are wishing for the gas processing to take place at Port Hedland, 900km away, where such facilities already exist.
Either way NMS is in the box seat to cash in on this wealthy area of gas fields.
Barnett is quoted as saying the Inpex loss to NT is WA's most embarassing loss which will never happen again. Let's hope he is supportive of WA companies such as Neppy.
av a good day
