....."before the 9th September." ...... Now PJMac you have left out some key words there. The original request by MXR to the ASX seeking a TH indicates that they want a TH in place until EITHER MXR releases a statement/announcement about the Capital raising OR before the commencement of trading on Wednesday 9th September.
So yes they could release an announcement today either before the end of the market today or after trading has finished for the day but if they don't then they have all the way up to a few minutes before trading begins tomorrow to release the announcement. The other alternative (which I doubt they will need to do) is ask for a further delay.....an extension of the TH.

So take care of the actual wording.
