re: rio up in us and london ... to rembrant et al notice that the Dow has been trading in a sideways pattern for 7 days, it can't go on like that much longer. a decisive breakout one way or the other, is what I am waiting for. the RSI shows it as having been slightly into oversold for a few days, currently still down there but more of a neutral appearance, around the RSI 30 mark. that's the Dow, not RIO which looks a lot more positive.
one expert says the only reason we are up at all, is because of the asian troubles. money seeking a safe haven down-under. go figure!
