Phil has over 30 years experience of operating in the regulated financial services environment and has first-hand experience in establishing, developing and growing some of the leading tourism and leisure operators on a global scale.
These tourism and leisure operations include the highly successful Stella Group, an integrated hotels, travel agency and facilities management business with a footprint through the Middle East, Africa, Europe, America and Australasia.
Similarly, Phil was the architect of a $6 billion funds management business with a highly diversified product range and asset base which included substantial property interests in, amongst others, Australia and New Zealand.
Phil was also responsible for a number of highly successful IPO’s onto public exchanges which followed the early stage corporate positioning and strategic planning which Agilis is now renowned for.
For the last decade, Phil has been an executive director and/or Chairman of a range of both listed and unlisted public companies spread throughout the above industries. In these roles Phil has gained a valuable insight into the strategic management of companies during each phase of their development from initial set-up through growth to maturity.
Phil’s professional training was gained as in-house legal counsel as well as holding other executive and lending roles for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Phil has an immense depth of expertise and knowledge in the structured finance, funds management sectors and facilities management, tourism, travel and leisure industries.
