Sounds like Bots at play.
I would say DXB would have a template of the next announcement already made as it will be a case of altering old announcement, add new stuff. I don‘t think it will take them long to crunch the data numbers as they are smart people and will recognise immediately what they have.
If its positive then hopefully they will notice that the dow was up last night meaning positive market today and drop the announcement later today or they can to wait to tomorrow, see if the dow is positive again and then drop the announcement knowing the market will be in a happy mood. Likewise if the dow has a crap night they can afford to hold off to Monday in the hope that it has a better night on Friday.
Here’s hoping its good news. Its at these times that one realises that you should probably diversify a bit more and take profit earlier. Ah well, too f**ken late now!
