Siameseparrot, of course there will be inflation in the "future" but you are missing what is happening right now. Deflation. Ignore that and you will pay dearly.

You have been posting and defending these articles for as long as I've been a member on HC. Anybody that has questioned them, you reply with a "gullible" or "educate yourself" comment. Now your distancing yourself from those posts.
Why is it so popular for gold bugs to bag the "media" but hold all gold bloggers as only speaking the gospel. What a load of rubbish. There are many reports on what's happening if you look past the headlines. There is far more questionable articles on Kitco etc.
You obviously don't hold physical gold with your "it doesn't matter about the Aussie gold price. $US is all that matters. In reality it's all that matters for our gold holders and producers. Sure it doesn't help the explorers but why should it anyhow? It's not coming out of the ground anytime soon. They run we they feel.
