Personally I'd like to see some pull back and consolidation - over $870 would be neat. Last time she ran too hard into the $900s she was $700 a fortnight later :)

That said I do regret not snapping up more NCM on Friday - but who was to know, eh? I actually sold out some. I did grab some CTO during the week at 18.5 and 19 respectively, a trade which is already making daddy happy :P

For momentum trading, it will be interesting to see if this helps SBM recapture some of the territory that was pared back after the weekly spike faded. As someone said yesterday, SBM has been getting incrementally more responsive to the gold price as the impact of the botched capital raising and ED's margin calls (and the trading ranges they imposed) receeds. So a stock to watch next week I reckon to see if it takes any critical lines. BH has written an excellent commentary on the quarterly in the SBM thread. And of course now we know Mac Bank isn't scared to sell its overhang at a loss or into strength there are some wild cards there.
