My impression of Chatree is that the grades have never been good, I believe there average around ~ 1+ g/t mark. But someone KCN managed to make a low cost operation out of it where others beforehand have failed. My recollection was AISC from around $800/oz mark. Not sure how KCN cracked it.. whether it was the mine plan or process.
