Mophead,
I appreciate everything you said. However, I dont think hat Huntley had a buy recommendation on BNB in November, when it was trading < $1. Huntley are traditionally a conservative mob. They did, however, have a buy on BNB a year ago or so when it was trading much higher.
"Etc, etc. all the way down to when they were <$1, there were still analysts claiming they were a buy, albeit risky at that stage."
Which ones ? I can't think of any analyst who called BNB a buy <$1. If so, please let me know. There were plenty who were calling it a sell. It was in the news quite often.
I think you have a point about BNB accounting (the whole B&B family). The best that you can say is that they are complicated. At worst, deceptive.
Mop, I am genuinely sorry this has happened. With the benefit of hindsight we would all make better investing/trading decisions. But I don't think you cannot say that the writing wasn't on the wall.
