How do you think I feel? I started buying in July 2019 at $1.15. I was sitting on a beach in Queensland, on vacation with my wife. I had not yet finished my due diligence. I didn't have my computer or spreadsheets with me. But I got a bee in my bonnet that the business was very undervalued and I was going to miss the opportunity. So I started buying - ouch!
Acting before completing my due diligence is a cardinal sin for me - and something I almost never do. That experience was a salient reminder to rigorously stick to method. After getting back home, and completing my DD, on reflection I doubt I would have pulled the trigger at that point if I had followed my process.
But that's all in the past! We can't let a bad experience taint our current perspective.
