@mike_au1; Andrews has little choice but to follow through what he allowed Morrison to bully him out of doing as Covid-19 Wave 1 in Victoria was reduced to relatively low numbers - relaxing restrictions too early.
It's apparent that Andrews is not about to yield to Morrison's bully-boy tactics a second time - despite what Murdoch Mouthpieces are digging up on a daily basis it's apparent he's determined to stamp the virus out of Melbourne.
The hysteria being whipped up by Murdoch Mouthpieces and the Liberal Party will soon give way to what Andrews has PROMISED comes next:
1. His plan for additional support for Victorian businesses impacted by COVID-19.
2. His plan to overhaul workplace agreements throughout Victoria to make them 'COVID-SAFE' [eg. terminating the deployment of casual staff across multiple aged care facilities & taking a long, hard look at their refusal to pay staff properly or to provide sick leave].32. Easing of restrictions throughout regional Victoria [perhaps excluding Coal and Geelong who've been very, very naughty].
3. Andrews plan for ramping up Victoria's core infrastructure program is about to hit the ground.
4. Progressive easing of restrictions for Melbourne from September 27th and as COVID-19 targets are achieved.
5. The return to school at the start of Term 4 for roughly half of Victorian students.
6. Pretty close to a normal Christmas
Re that internal Liberal Party poll, it was apparently limited to Murdoch Mouthpieces likely to lose their jobs after the US Election.
