dear chief joesph, and I stand corrected, but isreal purchased all the land from absentee landlords. so it isnt about the land, rather about militant thugs who use force and abuse of its population to ensure that their idealogies, irrespective on the impact on the local population are followed. The prize, all those dieing go to heaven, while the Hamas leaders, in syria, and their cohorts, in the arms and building industries, get the money for the earthly delights.
there was a movie about this small country in europe, ficitonal of course. that decided to declare war on the US, as the king realised that every country that want to war with the US can out better than before. I think it was called the 'mouse that roared'. Seems Hamas roared, and got a billion dollars.
remember if Hamas didnt fire the rockets it would get anything. so peace doesnt pay dividends for Hamas
