The final 'covid normal' phase (elimination) is not until 28 days of zero cases. In other words the week of Christmas. It was an incredibly tone deaf and depressing propasal to put to the community. And I think the boot got put into Andrews internally and frlm Canberra, and thats why we saw the arrogant Andrews capitulate and send peoepl to Syd and commit to improving contact tracing so it can be sooner.
