Thought some might find this interesting .
Several years ago my futures broker sent out letters saying that my account was held along with all the other traders ,who they looked after , and it was NOT segregated [spelling] from them , although it was from the Brokers account .
What happened in England was one trader using massives positions had a big loss , many millions of $, so the broker used the accounts of the other traders to sure up His position although they had no relation to the bankrupted trader .
I promptly closed my acct .
Seems the broker wouldn't accept responsibility for allowing the trader to perform like He did .
Some others here should also remember how it worked but it scared the pants off me .
