I have looked around to find what the current market price for bauxite is.
Surprisingly it is very hard to find - where many other commodities a simple google search will do the job.
Does anyone know what bauxite is selling for now ?
Apparnetly there is a over supply now (nothing surprising here as nearly all commodites have had a fall off in demand)
I am trying to answer why BAU can't find buyers - you would think someone would lock in BAU for a number of reasons including:
(1) Bring in extra competition to the market
(2) Lock in some early deals - to secure a future supplier when the negotiating position is good
