I know plenty of cops that are actually advocating for police Not be involved in anything involving mental health, they know it’s a dangerous minefield. But you know what, there is nobody else that can deal with violent, unpredictable people. So guess who has to deal with it! Harass your local member and insist that the health dept train up and provide medically qualified security who accompany ambos etc to mental health issues! Every single cop would vote for that!
