I can see where jes is coming from with the delay - it would have been nice to hear about the issue and the likely outcomes - it would have washed out by now.
Don't have an issue with the lower issue prioe - take a look at wesfarmers and many others doing capital raising well below closing prices and struggling to be filled.
A one week price surge is only a concern if you have short term plans
