Yes, I had been quite surprised that we'd heard nothing but the obligatory 'we've raised some cash' announcement from MEL; but it makes sense now given that VEN were clearly trying to finalise this cap raise. As much as I don't like the shareprice where it currently is, I am buoyed by VEN now being funded and the serious support being offered at 2.5c. It's pretty crazy that we're sitting below cash/BYE backing, given that we are fully funded to bring a discovery into production. Surely we are worth at least $30m atm...not $14m. Hre's hoping the VEN cap raise expedites Odin to Octoberish or brings Cervantes forward a long way (must still need last approvals there?).
