Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk's departments and agencies spent an average of more than $1000 a week on alcohol last year, prompting opposition claims of a "toxic culture of splurge" within the government.
New figures reveal the departments and agencies that fall under Ms Palaszczuk's responsibility spent $59,938 on alcohol at 99 functions from July 2019 until June 2020.
