I'll check with my friend's hubbie (the geologist who worked for Geoscience Australia, and spent several months in that exact area doing geologist stuff for the Fed Government), but my memory isn't that good so I'd be guessing - he mentioned several minerals, pointing out the key two large colours that I mistakenly thought were gold and copper were not, and then advised me that any gold in the core was invisible to the naked eye in those samples. There are diamond core samples that do exist with gold that can be seen by the naked eye, but they are rare, and the gold is little tiny specks, not half the core.
Like you I honestly thought it was gold when I first saw it and excitedly showed him the photos only to be really embarrassed when he went through each of the minerals in the cores for me, so I'm really not having a go at you. He was still fairly impressed with the CST documentation though (and they've even been burnt by previous gold pump and dumps), but because I convinced him of the sound management, cash and other fundamentals underlying the remainder of CST that I do know a little about, and after reading the geological material (which he said was also impressive) his wife (my mate) bought in on the proviso I stopped day trading it and stayed the course, which I'm glad I've done - currently up over 155% annualised - just hope it keeps rising so my annual rate doesn't fall too much.
