So if LKE did this at its current price all shareholders would have to share half the upside with a big corporate partner? If at some stage a key partnership to help with dfs, production and off take is needed that it's not a case of being desperate then lake the board can be selective and strategic. CRs avoid the need for this at this stage. SPPs whilst they feel great to be asked are a real pain for the board as dugsab mentioned.
