Is an economic "retrace" a catastrophe or just a natural break in the trend - a pause for breath? For most people it won't be that hard to endure even if it lasts a year or two. Unfortunately it tends to be all or nothing - you either have a job or you don't. So some will suffer while most will simply postpone buying the latest iPod until there's a newer, better model out.
And that's a catastrophe to some I guess.
