You mention obscure, so I will just tough on that point first (obscure). It has been put to me often on the other site I go on (religion) and in a rather abruptly way, my writing skills, words and order of words are shocking. Told to go back to school etc etc. Now then, I am not suggesting for one minute, that that's what your suggesting, just that it might explain why my post appeared obscure.
Basically, my belief which was mainstream followings, was challenged via another poster, hence I studied the Bible big time in an attempt to prove the belief I held at that time was correct, so I could poke it back to this other poster lol. However, I found it to be incorrect, which also meant that the mainstream Christianity was up the gum tree as well and it would appear, this began not long after Jesus left. When I say belief, I am only speaking of the basics of, who and what God and Jesus are, From the Bible and I call this or would suggest, this is the first milk of the overall message of the Bible. However, first milk or basics as I put it, has many branches and if you don't get them, you will not be able to see or accept the truth.
To give you just a glimpse as to the extent I went to, for what you might call support or cross referencing my findings, to a degree I went into the area that you touched on, meaning of Hebrew letters and the letters number representations and what these numbers also mean or tell us. Example -> Dabar = Word in English. It is spelled with 3 Hebrew letters which tell us -> Door into House to the Head (God). John 1:1 (Greek)..........and the end of the verse -> And God was the Word. (Dabar).
So in short, to come into the House of God, your coming into Dabar/Word which is in effect, God. Jesus now appointed as this Door, knock and he will give you pasture = Word, the Word.
The end game plan = for God (Word) to be all in all.
LOL, the entire above may even look, more obscure to you now??? --------------- When you spent some time on the religious forum, some, few, of the posters come at you opinionated, one eyed, aggressive etc. Basically, walls appeared to shoot up etc. However, due to your approach (nature it would seem), and not to mention, you made it clear as to what or how you will engage etc, not into dog fights, respect others views etc, and your pleasantness, the tone of the replies from others as the discussions went on, notably changed and relatively pleasant exchanges went back and forth.
You might say, well,.I was an outsider looking in.
