No doubt I'm being dumb, but I'm not quite getting you. How can you say none of the share price relates to water? Surely it plays a part in why some people would have invested in CLQ, even if small.
Recent separations/spinoffs I've been involved with (BHP/S32, Graincorp/United Malt) worked the way I described.
