Here is just a thought. The mediation is probably all about getting a $ amount from the bank(s). Then, I assume it is really up to FH and the clients how this gets divvied up.
It is non-trivial but not impossible to strike a balance between 27th March, 16th Oct and Default notice date valuations to produce a dividend formula that seems "fair" to all. This should be independent of the $ amount but maybe there are other factors.
Let us see... In the mean time there is no point stressing out, just kick back with a beer or three and enjoy tennis, cricket, or whatever takes your fancy.
