It's true that we won't have commercial quantities of chips til next year.
However, that does not mean that an early adopter will not bring out an embodiment of the IP in their poduct before then.
The masks are available, and can readily be reduced to 14 nm, or even 7 nm (LdN), as well as selecting a reduced functional block set to fit with their product.
So it is not impossible that we could see IP revenue soonish.
