I think we now know why there is a masssive focus from Dan on the simplistic case numbers and minimal thought to other impacts.... his approval went up as case numbers went down. A clever, if extremely damaging, strategy to boil the problem down to one number each day and benchmark yourself to it. Who would have thought that shutting down all non essential activity for 8 weeks would reduce the spread of a virus? What great job. Let's just forget what errors got us there in the first place and give the gov a tick of approval, morons.
I think if you looked at the circumstances of the 62% of people happy with VicGov, I think you'd find a lot of people minimally impacted by the lockdowns, major one would be financially. The opinion polls in support of andrews show a severe lack of empathy and p.erspective
