Projected invasive ventilator demand has now moved up to about 60% above previous peak. This new peak is projected to occur 21 December.
Was previously sitting at about 30% above previous peak.
That's a projection of over 32,000 ventilators in use in the US at any one time. Most of those will be people with COVID ARDS.
