Does anybody actually even understand what Elon and Drew were eluding to?
Phasing out graphite.
”Tesla Silicon” is the future...
”Highly elastic binder”. Ie. Undisclosed non-graphite materials.
Even if they use graphite in the lower capacity vehicles, Drew said they are developing/have developed their own dry particle process with Maxwell tech.
NVX still has a customer base for the next couple of years until everyone follows Tesla tech or “Tesla Silicon” for that matter.
Graphite will be dead in the water in 3-5yrs.
